Turns out my month of doubles hasn't ended at the close of May. I've just been called in to work doubles all next week as well. Sorry folks, updates won't pick up as I had planned until after this week! You can be sure I'm jotting down ideas every free moment I have at work though!

These past two weeks have been crazy busy for those who don't know. I've been working two (almost) full time jobs, and had a minor family emergency. All in all it was exhausting. However, I only have one more week of madness, and then I can finally enjoy my summer. This next update is probably around 10k words if I had to guess, maybe more. It basically introduces the beginning of day 2, sets the descriptions for the rooms, adds maybe a dozen and a half events you can interact with, and then introduces the next content. It should properly illustrate the day night cycle, and if it's not obvious that additional mechanics that I've been working on is that when you experience a change, the ghost will comment on it during your sleep! Alright Everyone! So I'm sure many of you have been waiting on and update and you can expect it some time this following week. I got slammed with a ton of work as well as a family emergency this past week, so I wasn't able to get nearly the progress I intended done. Still, you can expect a solid update this week! What will it include? about 2k more of scripted content. about a dozen random events that will each have their own TF effect. Full room descriptions. Multiple repeatable events to train certain stats or appearance variables. This isn't going to be as in depth as something like Cursed. It will be very straight foreword. Eat enough and maybe you'll gain weight. Work out enough and maybe you'll loose weight. A ton of simple "fluff" events that just build upon the story. Wow, It's been 2 and a half months in progress, but Witch's Familiar is finally available for beta release. I can't tell you how much I've learned about twine in the process of creating this game. If you could see the back end you could literally see how my methods change and adjust with time. We're now looking at over 20k words. Over 50 variables affecting the Player Characters appearance, and the way they interact with the world. I've story boared the 5 chapters. And have MOUNTAINS of notes on ideas for random encounters. It's been a fun climb, but the roller coaster is just beginning. I'm going to be hitting it hard over summer, and try to have the game entirely complete before the season is up. I've also already started up on another game that I'm pretty excited about. This one is going to be pure js, no twine interface. It will be very graphic and mechanic heavy, where this one is narration heavy. I don't want to talk too much about...
